This project focused on creating illustrated postcards for a client, using photographic references of the Williamstown area.

Through extensive research and photography, I delved into the historical and architectural significance of Williamstown, capturing its essence to inform the design of appropriate postcards. The design process included experimenting with line drawing styles, ink washes, and color theory to meet the project's needs effectively.

By utilizing elements like line, shape, form, space, and color, I refined ideas and created a cohesive set of postcards that encapsulated the essence of Williamstown, using colors inspired by the Williamstown footy club and incorporating "imperfect" jagged lines for a rustic touch. The project not only met the client's requirements but also showcased technical proficiency, concept development, and a successful application of color theory in illustrative work.
