This project involves designing and typesetting two album covers for the same music artist, each reflecting a different musical genre.

The first cover embraces the original style of MF DOOM, featuring his iconic mask and a graffiti-style type to evoke a hip-hop aesthetic and urban lifestyle.

The second cover adopts a typographic approach inspired by reggae album covers, incorporating unique typographic choices and a grainy texture for an old-timey feel.

The process included research and conceptualization of genre-specific elements, iterative design development, and incorporating feedback to refine visual elements. The final presentation includes flat designs of the covers, liner notes, record labels, digital mock-ups, and a subscription form. This project aims to visually communicate complex concepts while balancing genre expectations and innovative design elements, resulting in professionally presented album covers and inserts.
